Joe Wicks Is Doing a 24-Hour Workout For Children in Need — Here's How You Can Join In

12/11/2020 - 11:45 AM

Joe Wicks, who was appointed an MBE in the Queen's birthday honours list last month, is no stranger to pushing his mind and body to the limits with intense workout programs. On top of filming many prerecorded workouts for his Body Coach fitness plans [1] and YouTube channel [2], Joe was a source of exercise inspiration for people across the UK during the first coronavirus lockdown thanks to "PE With Joe" [3]. He led free fitness classes on his YouTube channel every morning for 13 weeks, which brought in 80 million views and raised £580,000 for the NHS Charities Together. [4]

But Joe's latest challenge is undoubtedly the hardest he's faced so far. To help raise money for this year's BBC Children In Need [5], Joe is completing a 24-hour PE class, live on TV. Yes really, 24 hours straight with only a five-minute break every hour to get freshened up and have some food.

You can watch Joe's workouts by pressing the red button on your TV or via the BBC iPlayer. BBC Children in Need is also showing some of his workouts on YouTube, which you can find and join in with, ahead.

You can donate to BBC Children in Need through Joe Wicks's link here [6].
