Peloton Instructors Love These Products So Much, They're Gifting Them to Everyone

23/11/2022 - 11:10 PM

If you or someone you know is a dedicated Peloton rider [1], then it's no secret how much of an influence the instructors have on our entire damn lives. They not only help us get our sweat on but also do so much more, from making us laugh (even at minute 55 of an hour-long session) to helping us set our intentions for the day. The beauty of the Peloton instructor community [2] is that they're all so unique in their personalities and coaching styles. Not to mention, they're influencers in their own right — and they're wildly good at it. That said, who's better to share what they're gifting this year than the Peloton stars themselves?

We tapped six of our favourite Peloton instructors (drumroll, please) — Callie Gullickson [3], Camila Ramón [4], Matty Maggiacomo [5], Katie Wang [6], Kirsten Ferguson [7], and Rebecca Kennedy [8] — to share what products they're scooping up for the holiday season across all categories. Unsurprisingly, they have some pretty great fitness picks, including a massage gun that stops sore muscles in their tracks and a stylish ring that monitors your sleep and workouts in a very high level of detail. Ahead, view their selections, find out why they're obsessed with them, and, if you consider yourself influenced, shop!

Callie Gullickson’s Pick: Slip Zippered Pillowcase

"A solid sleep and fitness routine go hand in hand, so you better believe I take my rest seriously!" says the instructor. The Slip Zippered Pillowcase [9] ($89) is made of mulberry silk that "helps protect my skin and hair since I'm always sweating and wearing it up," she says. Want to learn more? Callie Gullickson’s Pick: Stanley The Quencher H2.0 FlowState™ 40 oz Tumbler

"Having the Stanley The Quencher H2.0 FlowState™ 40 oz Tumbler [10] ($40) reminds me to stay hydrated, even on my busiest days," says Gullickson. "And we all know hydration is key!"

Callie Gullickson’s Pick: Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Hydra-Gel Eye Patches

"I wear the Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Hydra-Gel Eye Patches [11] ($55) as consistently as I workout," says Gullickson. "Putting them on in the morning may be the favourite part of my morning routine."

Camila Ramón's Pick: JZD Poderosa Tee

"We are strong (fuerte) and powerful (poderosa)," says Ramón, "and the JZD Poderosa Tee [12] ($34) celebrates just that! Whether in training or at work, you can't go wrong with this empowering reminder. Not to mention the cute colour!"

Camila Ramón's Pick: Hyperice Hypervolt Go 2

"My dad is the most consistent he's ever been in his training regimen since he got his Peloton Bike," Ramón shares, adding that "recovery is crucial for him to be able to get back on the bike regularly." For that reason, she recommends gifting the Hyperice Hypervolt Go 2 [13] ($149, originally $199) and Theragun Mini [14] ($199) to someone equally as committed to their workout game.

Camila Ramón's Pick: Fenty Beauty Mini Skin Must-Haves 5-Piece Face + Body Set

"I am obsessed with all things Fenty Skin," raves Ramón. "When my skin feels good, I feel confident both on- and off-camera, even when I'm not wearing any makeup. The Fenty Beauty Mini Skin Must-Haves 5-Piece Face + Body Set [15] ($42, originally $65) is a great sample set with all of my favs to share some confidence with someone you love!"

Matty Maggiacomo's Pick: Snow At-Home Teeth Whitening Kit

"Everyone always asks where I go to get my teeth whitened. The answer is: nowhere," reveals Maggiacomo. "I use the Snow At-Home Teeth Whitening Kit [16] ($119, originally $149) on a regular basis and it always brightens my smile without making my teeth or gums sensitive." It's also editor-approved: One of our editors said it made her teeth "a full shade brighter without pain." Check out her complete review of the Snow At-Home Teeth Whitening Kit [17].

Matty Maggiacomo's Pick: Dagne Dover Dakota Backpack

"I carry the Dagne Dover Dakota Backpack [18] ($215) with me EVERYWHERE, and have gifted bags from the brand to my loved ones for multiple holidays," says the instructor. "Sometimes I leave the house at 6AM and I'm not back until 8 or 9PM, and so this bag carries my LIFE: sometimes multiple pairs of gym clothes, shoes, and toiletries. Not to mention, it's easy to clean!" (The brand recommends [19] hand washing in cold water with gentle soap, FTR.)

Matty Maggiacomo's Pick: Bombas Sunday Slipper

"Now that it's cosy season, I've been living in my Bombas Sunday Slippers [20] ($75)," says Maggiacomo. "Bombas has the coziest slippers and socks for the winter! You can't go wrong gifting something soft and cosy."

Katie Wang's Pick: ThePawfectPatch Embroidered Pet Sweatshirt

"I think a custom personalized gift from Etsy is always a nice surprise," says Wang. "For everyone that is obsessed with their pet, you can wrap their gift in personalized wrapping paper or get them an embroidered sweatshirt [22] ($125+) with their fur baby's face on the front!"

Katie Wang's Pick: AMYO Jewellery

"Where you shop in and of itself can be a gift in support so I love being able to find AAPI- or female-owned and operated businesses to add an extra layer of love into my gifts," says Wang. "Some great ones I found this year are Gina Nam's AMYO [23] for beautifully handcrafted staple jewellery, Sashee Chandran's Tea Drops [24], a bagless sustainable solution for the tea lover in your life, and Mijenta Tequila [25] that is created by Maestra Tequilera Ana Maria Romero."

Kirsten Ferguson's Pick: Lululemon Release & Recover Ball Set

"How cute is this release and recover set?" says Ferguson. As a runner, these tension release balls [27] ($28) are key for my recovery, so I'm excited to gift [them] to my friends."

Kirsten Ferguson's Pick: Oura Ring

"SLEEP! What a gift that is, and knowing that it is crucial to improving your mental and physical health," says the athlete. "I love the Oura Ring [28] ($299) because it helps me get smarter with learning the peak times for both activity and recovery. This gift is perfect for that active friend that needs to learn how to balance recovery and activity!" Learn more about the innovation via our comprehensive review of the Oura Ring [29].

Kirsten Ferguson's Pick: Mike’s Hot Honey Gift Set

"The Mike's Hot Honey Gift Set [30] ($29) is perfect for that foodie friend who loves to add a little spice to their food and cooking," says Ferguson. "I put Mike's Hot Honey on so many things, including my eggs in the morning, my cheese platter when hosting friends, and a great little drizzle on top of my salmon for dinner. I can't wait to gift some spice to one of my friends!"

Rebecca Kennedy's Pick: Ninja Air Fryer

"Where has the Ninja Air Fryer [31] ($200) been all my life?! I cook almost everything in this now," says Kennedy, who adds that "it saves so much time and wastes SO much less food." She continues: "From every kind of veggie to teriyaki salmon and panko-crusted chicken, I use this appliance EVERY day. I was sceptical at first and was weary of adding another appliance to my kitchen, worried it would take up real estate and not get used, but I couldn't have been more wrong. This dual air fryer is my new best friend, and I would gift this to everyone!"

Rebecca Kennedy's Pick: Higher Dose Infrared Sauna Blanket

"The Higher Dose Infrared Sauna Blanket [32] ($479, originally $599) had been on my list for a few years, and I finally bought it for myself three years ago," says Kennedy. "It has definitely been worth the splurge. It helps me recover quickly from my intense workouts, and recalibrate my body and energy when I feel overwhelmed or anxious. . . It comes in a cloth bag and while it does take up some space, I keep mine in my living room and use it multiple times a week while I listen to a Ross Rayburn meditation on the Peloton app, or binge-watch something on Netflix!" Rebecca Kennedy's Pick: Philip Hues Lights

"The Philip Hues Lights [34] ($200) create the perfect ambiance for any mood, any time of the day, and any workout," says Kennedy. "I love putting my lights on Relax mode while I stretch and meditate, or Energized mode for my workouts, and Soho for dance parties! They have a bunch of holiday settings for parties and get-togethers to keep you in the spirit. And you can control them right from your phone."

Rebecca Kennedy's Pick: Dakine Split Roller 85L Gear Bag

"Perfect for the adventurer, this Dakine Split Roller 85L Gear Bag [35] ($191, originally $255) comes in a bunch of fun colours and prints, so it's easy to find, it's incredibly durable, and my favourite part: it has so many compartments so I can find everything easily, and it doesn't shift around during travel."

Rebecca Kennedy's Pick: Danner Boots

"If you're heading out on the trails, these Danner Boots [36] ($430) are my go-to, especially with the Gore-Tex [waterproofing] for colder months," says Kennedy. "The leather is beautiful, the red lace is iconic, and they're super comfortable, supportive, with great cushion so you don't feel any sharp rocks, even after hours on the trail. These break in over time so nicely, but they're still amazingly comfortable when you first put them on!"
