I FINALLY got rid of my scale this morning. I woke up at 6am and immediately weighed myself. I was super disappointed (why do I expect to lose weight every day?) and then realized I needed to stop this unhealthy habit of weighing myself twice a day. I finally threw away my scale. I've talked about this unhealthy habit quite a few times but it took me way too long to get rid of the problem. It's scary to not know if I'm gaining weight or losing weight every week, but I need to trust the process. I'm focusing on eating right and exercising in moderation, so I need to trust that results will follow. It's so important to have a healthy mindset even before focusing on the body. I don't want to lose weight in an unhealthy manner. I want to be healthy overall and that is my goal for 2018.
