Every June, brands of all kinds incorporate rainbows into every aspect of their image. Whether brands present rainbow products or rainbow social media handles, they tend to show their "support" for the LGBTQ+ community with an avalanche of rainbows. While these colourful gestures are a sign of progress in terms of representation for the LGBTQ+ community, there is still much more that can be done by brands, especially large companies, to financially support, amplify the voices of, and uplift the LGBTQ+ community. In the world of activewear, as brands change their colours for the month of June, each of these five fitness brands are opening their wallets and/or hiring queer creatives to design their collection, going beyond simply slapping a rainbow on their activewear for Pride. New Balance
New Balance's exuberant Everybody's Welcome [2] PRIDE collection features artwork by Zoie Lam, a queer artist from Hong Kong. In addition to featuring Lam's designs, New Balance is donating $100,000 to GLSEN [3] over the next two years continuing to show its support for the organisation.

Peloton has released its My Truth Is Our Power [6] collection for Pride 2021. Featuring the colours of the progress pride flag on most of its pieces, Peloton is backing up its colourful clothes with $25,000 donations to each of the four charities based in an area that Peloton services: The Ali Forney Centre [7] in the United States, The 519 [8] in Canada, London Friend [9] in the United Kingdom, and GLADT [10] in Germany.
Reebok
Reebok's 2021 All Types of Love [11] Pride collection was designed by Colourful Soles, Reebok's LGBTQ+ community in partnership with Iconic House of Ninja [12]. According to promotional materials, Reebok is donating $75,000 to the Sylvia Rivera Law Project [13] to "honour, uplift, and affirm the TGNCI community." Featuring the Pride Flag and the Progress Pride Flags, Reebok has released items in infant, child, and adult sizing.
Reebok Instapump Fury OG Pride Shoes
If you're looking for footwear with a splash of colour and cushioned comfort, then these are your shoes. Reebok's Instapump Fury OG Pride Shoes [14] ($170) are the most recent version of the iconic silhouette that also feature the progress pride flag within and on the back of the shoe.

Reebok's Pride Graphic T-Shirt [15] ($30) adds an accent of colour to your activewear wardrobe while gently reminding us that there's always room to move forward in LGBTQ+ representation on and off of a T-shirt.

Puma's Forever Free [16] collection works with The OUT Foundation [17] for its PUMA x OUT apparel and FUSE x OUT shoe, which will be released later this summer. The entire campaign is modelled by members of The OUT Foundation, putting a spotlight on those behind the scenes of the foundation.

This will help to continue the organisation's 40-year history of proving essential services to the LGBTQ+ community.
