Starr Andrews Skates to Own Cover of Etta James's "At Last"

Starr Andrews Skated to Her Own Cover of Etta James, and We're Speechless Right Now

Every time we check in on figure skater Starr Andrews, she's doing something incredible. At age 9, she took the internet by storm by skating to Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" (nearly 57 million views and counting!). Ten years later, she soared to a beautiful routine set to Mickey Guyton's "Black Like Me." Still at the start of her skating career, Andrews always selects meaningful music and crafts powerful routines to match.

At Skate America 2021 this weekend, Andrews took it to the next level by skating to her own cover of "At Last" by Etta James — yes, as in, Andrews herself is singing! While the full routine hasn't hit the internet yet, the short clips are stunning. Andrews's voice is the real deal (it's not the first time she's sung her own program music!), and her skating rises to the occasion; her charisma shines on the ice. From the shimmery costume to the powerful vocals and stunning jumps, Andrews went for it all in this routine, and the results speak for themselves. Check out the clip above to watch this skating star (or should we say Starr?) on the rise.
