After receiving humanitarian visas from Australia to leave Kabul, Afghanistan, Khudadadi safely ventured through Paris and arrived in Tokyo on Aug. 28. On Sept. 2, Khudadadi competed in the women's K44 - 49kg class, which includes athletes with unilateral arm amputation, making it all the way to the quarterfinals after her round of 16 match.
