Who says you can't eat chocolate sauce every day? This 2-ingredient vegan chocolate sauce carries such a rich, chocolatey flavour and goes well with so many things that it's the perfect dessert sauce to drizzle on top of any treat.
One of the two ingredients in this recipe is chocolate almond milk (or your choice of chocolate dairy-free alternative milk). The second ingredient is chocolate hummus, which you can make at home with just a few ingredients, or pick up from the hummus section at your local grocery store. Combine the two ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl until the sauce is thick and well-incorporated.
For flavour variety, you can add a pinch of sea salt or a dash of instant espresso powder.

- 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons chocolate dessert hummus
1/4 cup unsweetened chocolate almond milk
Pinch of sea salt (optional)
- Whisk together the almond milk, chocolate hummus, and sea salt or espresso powder in a small microwavable bowl or glass measuring cup. Mix well.
- Microwave on high for 10-15 seconds, or until the chocolate hummus and almond milk mixture has reached a smooth consistency.
- Mix well again and enjoy!
