Well, we officially know what we'll be snacking on this Summer. Following the release of its annual Peeps-flavoured cookie [2], Oreo is reportedly working on an unexpected addition inspired by Good humour's Strawberry Shortcake Dessert Bar. According to Instagram account Candy Hunting, the seasonal flavour will consist of a golden cookie with strawberry-flavoured bits, as well as a whipped strawberry-flavoured filling.
Oreo has yet to formally announce the new cookie, but the strawberry cookies are reportedly launching sometime this Summer. The junk food blog also dished out an update on the Rocky Road Trip Oreos [3] we first reported on in December. Candy Hunting is now claiming the chocolate and marshmallow cookies will be hitting shelves [4] in late July.
