Spicy Watermelon Recipe

Spicy Watermelon May Sound Like a Weird Snack, but I Swear You'll Eat the Whole Bowl

If you're looking for an easy, healthy, and seriously addictive Summer snack, look no further than spicy watermelon. When I first came across the idea, I'll admit I was sceptical. I love watermelon and I love spicy foods, but together? It sounded a little weird. Still, while watermelon is refreshing, I sometimes find it boring and bland, which is why I decided to give this recipe a try. Especially since it takes basically no time to put together.

I made this recipe really easy on myself and bought precubed, seeded watermelon at the grocery store. Feel free to cut up a watermelon yourself (we recommend using this hack), but the cubes worked just fine! The rest of the ingredients, which are all spices and a lime, I already had on hand.

Once the dish was prepared, I couldn't wait to sample it. And I wasn't disappointed! It was hot and cool at the same time, making it a perfect treat for a Summer day by the pool (or anywhere). I had to try not to eat the entire bowl in one go — it's that addicting!

It's refreshing, tasty, and fun to snack on any time of day — it could even be served for dessert. And a massive bonus is that it's low in calories, meaning, like me, you can eat an entire bowl.
