Calling All Non-Basic Witches: Starbucks's Spiked Matte Black Tumbler Has Your Name on It
It's not even September yet and Starbucks is already getting us in the Halloween spirit with a brand-new tumbler straight out of our witchiest dreams. The coffee chain has slowly started releasing matte black reusable cups that are positively covered in spikes, save for a smooth circle-shaped portion where the signature Starbucks logo is featured — seriously, even the lids have spikes on them! Is it just us or does this cup look like something the Sanderson sisters would deviously sip Witch's Brew from?
If this all-black 24-ounce drinking vessel is giving you a sense of déjà vu, it's because Starbucks has sold reusable coffee cups with similar studded designs in the past. Remember that overly glitzy iridescent cold cup that hit shelves last September and its rose gold counterpart that debuted in May? Both tumblers had the same spiky texture as this new black version, which is rumoured to be widely released in late August.
