Bliss on Toast Recipe

Bliss on Toast Is the Easy and Delicious Recipe You Need Right Now

During a recent scroll through Instagram, a lovely photo of a piece of toast topped with delicious ingredients like courgette, white beans, and pesto caught my eye. It was made by none other than the fabulous Prue Leith from The Great British Baking Show, and in her post, she explained that in her house, Sunday is always "Bliss on Toast" day. And that's exactly what it sounds like: you top a piece of toast with ingredients of your choice for a delicious, blissful snack.

The idea is incredibly easy and diverse, as it only takes some leftovers or digging through your freezer or cabinets to find some goodies. Using the ingredients she can find, Prue just toasts a piece of bread, adds her toppings, and enjoys. And it really can be anything (any time of year), as she even mentioned using Christmas pudding with cream and blackberries! So whether you're a sweet or savory type of person, you can customise this snack to you.

With all of my homebody-ness right now, I was up for the challenge to try re-creating Bliss on Toast for myself. Keep reading to see three versions I came up with!
