Chips Ahoy's New Sour Patch Kids Cookies Are Here

Chips Ahoy! Sour Patch Kids Cookies Are Now a Thing, and I'd Like to Know Who's Responsible

If you can't decide between a sweet or sour snack, you might love (or possibly hate) these new Sour Patch Kids-flavoured chocolate chip cookies from Chips Ahoy. That's right — shoppers first started spotting this truly wild combination at stores earlier this month.

The limited-edition treats are one of three new Chips Ahoy! flavours to debut this year, and while the other two are a little more traditional — one's made with Hershey's milk chocolate and the other with Reese's mini peanut butter pieces — these colourful cookies might surprise you. One Instagram user said they were "delicious," describing them as "a regular rainbow chip cookie but with a soft sour chew." While Sour Patch Kids and Chips Ahoy! cookies are some of my favourite snacks, I'd probably prefer to eat them separately, but hey, to each their own.
