Does Starbucks Have a Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino?

OK, So You've Had a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte, but Have You Tried the Frap?

Yeah, yeah I get it. I, too, want to wear a peacoat and suede booties right now, but sadly, it's still August. While I get the hype for fall, I don't always believe in rushing the seasons, especially when it comes to sweat-inducing layers and sips of hot drinks. While it does sound tempting to order Starbucks's pumpkin spice latte now that it's back, I'm still in a summer daze and will be until the temperature drops below 80 degrees. So what's a PSL-loving gal to do?

Enter, the Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino, and as one 2000s icon might say, you do indeed get the "best of both worlds."

What Does the Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino Taste Like?

I taste-tested the blended beverage to see if it really did live up to the coveted pumpkin spice latte, and yes, yes it did. With a hint of fall in every ice-cold sip, this drink bridges the awkward gap between summer and autumn effortlessly. While you can still enjoy the PSL excitement that fall fans love, you can do so without overheating on a sticky August day. Blended with coffee, milk, and ice and topped with whipped cream and pumpkin-pie spice, this drink will cure your cosy season cravings and keep you cool at the same time.

My favourite part about this drink is that you can customise it to how you like it. As someone who doesn't have the biggest sweet tooth, I tend to opt for something less sugary and more bold in flavour. Since I can't not get a PSL during the season, this drink has become my go-to since I can scale down the sweetness by ordering it with non-fat milk and an added espresso shot. Don't worry, I still get the whipped cream on top — I'm not a monster. I would note that this drink melted pretty fast (thank you, summer), so I would recommend asking for a little extra ice to keep it cold. The next time you want to enjoy a sunny summer day with a fall-flavoured drink in hand, order the Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino, and sip on pure seasonal bliss. Fall, we'll see ya soon.
