Dunkin' Donuts New Sugarplum Macchiato Details

Dunkin' Donuts Released a Sugarplum Macchiato For the Holidays With Berry and Vanilla Flavours

Step aside, peppermint mochas, eggnog lattes, and gingerbread cappuccinos — Santa Claus just brought us a new holiday coffee this year, and it's sure to cause some talk amongst the elves: Dunkin' Donuts's Sugarplum Macchiato! Taking a step back from the traditional holiday flavours that us coffee lovers look forward to every December, Dunkin' has introduced the new addition to their OG holiday menu. The drink is made with espresso, milk, vanilla, and frosted berry sweetener.

While it looks beautiful and festive, what does it actually taste like? Despite sounding unberryable sweet (sorry, had to), the richness of the espresso paired with the sweetness of the frosted berry makes for a very distinct taste, and the flavours complement each other surprisingly well, with neither overpowering the other. If you've ever had dark chocolate and strawberries, think of espresso and frosted berry as its distant cousin.

Available in both hot and iced (and decaf), the Dunkin' Donuts Sugarplum Macchiato is a fun new way to uplift your holiday spirits. One might even say that vision of sugarplums will be dancing in your head!
