Gideon's Bakehouse Is Coming to Disney Springs, and Its Cookies Are Half a Pound Each

Sweet treats can be found just around every corner at Walt Disney World, and later this year, Disney Springs [1] is getting an extra sweet addition with the opening of Gideon's Bakehouse! The Orlando food icon, which is known for its massive cookies that weigh just under half a pound, is opening a new location in The Landing at Disney Springs. You may already know it for its classic chocolate chip cookie that's smothered in chocolate chips and sprinkled with sea salt (it makes the perfect Instagram photo).

Gideon's Bakehouse will sell a variety of cookies at the Disney Springs location [2], including coffee cake, peanut butter crisp, and cookies and cream. It also plans on serving its own line of iced coffees with drinks like the Original Peanut Butter Iced Coffee. And if cake is more your style, be on the lookout for a variety of towering cakes, including its tasty double-frosted cakes, which combine two flavours of frosting into one dessert!

Each day, the bakery will offer signature cookie flavours with daily specials, and it'll also sell the überpopular coffee cake cookie, which is usually only available one month out of the year.
