Gingerbread Martini
Original Recipe by Zack Peter
Notes
The best way to get rid of extra sugar and calories in most traditional cocktails is to use a cleaner, no-cal sweetener, like stevia or fermented sugarcane (I like Purecane). Also, you'll want to stick to a high-quality vodka (Belvedere is my usual go-to). You'll be grateful in the morning!
Ingredients
- Dash of Ginger Bitters (or Dash of Ground Ginger)
Dash of Cinnamon
Dash of Nutmeg
A Couple Drops of Vanilla Extract
3 oz Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
1.5 oz Vodka
Sweetener of Your Choice (I Prefer Stevia or a Fermented Sugarcane to Cut Carbs/Calories)
Optional: Unsweetened Coconut Flakes to Garnish
Optional: Coconut Sugar to Garnish
Directions
- Combine ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, almond milk, vodka, and sweetener into a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Stir together.
- Gently wet the rim of a martini glass and coat with a combination of unsweetened coconut flakes, coconut sugar, and a granulated sweetener of choice.
- Pour combined ingredients into your martini glass and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
