This $25 Breakfast Sandwich Maker Is the Reason I Get Out of Bed in the Morning
As a busy working professional who loves to sleep as late as I possibly can, I feel like I'm always rushing out the door, but I never forget to eat a breakfast of some kind. That used to mean something quick and easy, like a bowl of cereal, toast and jam, or a bar if I was really running late. Those breakfasts were way less satisfying than what I really wanted, but I knew I didn't have time to do anything more elaborate. Sometimes I'd just wait until I got to work to hit a coffee shop or deli to buy a breakfast sandwich, my preferred morning fuel. Of course, by then I'd be starving and the money adds up when you buy breakfast most days.
Enter the gadget of my dreams: the Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich Maker ($25), which was a gift from my father-in-law who thought it'd be useful for busy young folks like myself. I was sceptical at first; didn't I still have to buy all the ingredients, assemble them in the morning, and wait for this thing to make my sandwich? The answer was yes, but each thing turned out to be (obviously) not a big deal. My sandwich maker turns out a better-than-the-deli breakfast sandwich in under five minutes, and I feel totally energized for my day. And now instead of hitting the snooze button, I get out of bed on time so I can make my sandwich. Here's where I brag that I've gotten great at making them, but I owe it all to this gadget. Keep reading and I'll tell you how it works — and my techniques to make the best breakfast sando EVER.
