Megan Thee Stallion is on fire for so many reasons, and her third merch drop with Popeyes — the "New Nostalgia" collection — is yet another reminder of this hot girl's power. In October, the "Hot Girl Summer" singer announced her first-of-its-kind partnership with Popeyes, which included a limited-edition "Hottie Sauce," a generous donation to Houston Random Acts of Kindness, an official franchise ownership, and, of course, three custom Popeyes merchandise collections. With the donation, sauce, and first two merchandise drops (which are still available!) already under her belt, Megan's third and final '90s-inspired Popeyes drop is here, and we want it on our body-ody-ody-ody-odies stat.
"When people wear the New Nostalgia line, I want them to feel bold, confident, and stylish," Megan told POPSUGAR in an email. "It was important to develop a capsule that embodies strong characteristics and I definitely feel like we accomplished that goal."
Dropping on Nov. 22 at 11 a.m. ET, just in time for the holiday season, Megan's "New Nostalgia" line features all the classic tenets of your '90s and early '00s wardrobe: a "Wild Style" trucker hat, a colour-block beanie, graphic T-shirts with airbrushed elements, a cropped tee, a sweatshirt, sweatpants, and a sweet denim jacket. Megan's love affair with the '90s runs deep, so it makes sense this collection celebrates it.
"I will always have a special appreciation for music from the '90s and '00s. That was a special time in hip-hop and R&B that influenced and inspired my growth and evolution as a musician." She continued, "I grew up on UGK – the late-great Pimp C will always be my favourite rapper of all-time and Bun B is a living legend in my eyes."
