Mexican Spiced Hot Chocolate

Notes
If you like your hot chocolate with more of a kick, add an extra pinch of each spice.
Ingredients
- 4 cups milk
1/4 cup sweetened cocoa powder (regular hot chocolate mix will work too)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of nutmeg
Pinch of cayenne
Pinch of paprika
Any toppings of your choice
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, add all ingredients. Heat over medium heat until simmering, stirring frequently.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately with toppings of your choice such as whipped cream, marshmallows, chocolate syrup, or extra dashes of cinnamon and spices.
