True fans of fall know that pumpkin spice season is still going strong no matter what the weather tells us. (See: pumpkin spice cookies, pumpkin spice cold brew, and pumpkin spice hot chocolate.) But I'm definitely down to take a break from the cinnamon and nutmeg if it means making room for Pepperidge Farm's new Amaretto Hot Cocoa Flavoured Milano cookies. Booze? Chocolate? And cookies? I mean, it's not like I needed another excuse to sit in front of the TV and catch up on reality shows while munching on snacks, but I'll take it!
Just like the spiked hot chocolate they're named after, the cookies are made with rich dark chocolate and a layer of almond-flavoured amaretto cream, and I can already imagine dunking one in a homemade cup of cocoa. Some people have already spotted the cookies on store shelves, but they won't make their official debut until early November, when they'll be available nationwide at stores like Target in 7-ounce bags for $4. In the meantime, take a closer look at the boozy chocolate cookies here.
