Which is why we're extremely thankful for Costco's Pre-Built Gingerbread House kits. They've developed quite the reputation for being a lifesaver for people who don't have the time or energy to assemble a gingerbread house from scratch (decorating is the best part, anyway!). The kits have been around for a few years now, but we get excited for them every year. They also cost just $10, which makes the entire deal pretty freakin' sweet (pun intended), and come with assorted candy and icing for decorating. So deck them out to your heart's content, and if anyone asks — don't worry, we'll say we made those babies from scratch.
