Popsugar Living Veganuary Pret’s Vegan 2020 Menu Includes Croissants A Vegan Croissant Is Coming Very Soon to a Pre A Manger Near You 3 January 2020 by Tori Crowther Image Source: Pret-a-Manger There's more good vegan news because Pret A Manger has officially launched a brand new vegan menu, which looks absolutely delicious. The sandwich shop chain, which has also become fondly known for its coffee and pastries (over 20 million croissants are sold at Pret every year), announced on Jan. 3, that it would be offering more options to vegan customers. Pret shared a short video on its Instagram page, which showed many customers asking for more plant-based choices, specifically a vegan croissant, and this year their wishes will be granted. As of Jan. 7, Pret will offer a new "Very Berry Croissant," a margarine pastry filled with a berry compote. "The Very Berry Croissant is just the beginning — we are looking forward to sharing more plant-based innovations with customers in 2020," said Pret's global head of food innovation, Hannah Dolan, in a press release. In addition to the delicious new pastry, Pret will also offer oat milk (which I am personally very excited about) and drop the charges on alternative milk options. There will be two more lunch choices, too: including a hummus-and-falafel mezze salad and smoky carrot and falafel on rye bread. And if those still don't satisfy your vegan cravings, try one of these many junk food joints that won't break your Veganuary resolution.
