Schitt's Creek-Inspired Hard Seltzers by Hop Capital Brewing

Schitt's Creek-Inspired Hard Seltzers Exist, and the Labels Are Absolutely Iconic

Hold the Zhampagne and Herb Ertlinger fruit wine, 'cause the only alcoholic beverages we want to be sipping all summer are these new Schitt's Creek-themed hard seltzers. In honour of Pride Month, a Washington-based brewery called Hop Capital Brewing released two spiked seltzers inspired by David and Moira Rose, and as the "Oh my god" king himself (link) once said, we feel like that needs to be celebrated — even if they aren't technically associated with the beloved Pop TV sitcom in an official capacity.

The boozy drinks are "smoothie-style hard seltzers," which means they're made with fruit puree and aren't clear like White Claw or Truly. Hop Capital Brewing came up with two different mouthwatering flavour options: Sunrise Bébé is a combination of pineapple, guava, blood orange, and marshmallow, while You're Triply the Best is "thrice fruited" with strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, and marshmallow. The only thing more iconic than those flavour names is the can labels, which feature illustrations of David and Moira rocking their signature black-and-white outfits.

So, how can dedicated Schittheads get their hands on a can, you ask? Well, seeing as Hop Capital Brewing is headquartered in Washington, the limited-release hard seltzers have mostly popped up at liquor stores and tap rooms located throughout California and Washington. For those willing to shell out for some hefty shipping fees, it looks like a few websites including Craft Beer Kings and Craft Shack are selling individual 16-ounce cans online. So, uh, anyone down for a last minute trip to the West Coast?
