Sonic Drive-In is responsible for a few of our favourite treat concoctions, but its Red Bull Summer Edition Watermelon Slush might be one of the most energizing yet. The food chain recently debuted the new flavour (along with the return of the fan-favourite Red Bull Slushie), just in time for summer, and patrons are already slurping away.
Although the thought of mixing an energy drink with sugar sends my heart racing, I must admit watermelon is my weakness during this season. According to one customer, Sonic and Red Bull really "hit it out of the park" with this one, and I'll take their word for it.
