Starbucks's Newest Holiday Drink Is an Irish Cream Cold Brew With Vanilla Sweet Cream Foam
As if the holiday drink menu at Starbucks wasn't awesome enough, the company just went ahead and made it even better by debuting a new festive beverage: the Irish Cream Cold Brew!
Similar to the Pumpkin Cold Brew that came before it, the drink features Starbucks' Cold Brew sweetened with Irish cream syrup and topped with a vanilla sweet cream-infused cold foam and finished with a sprinkling of cocoa. The combination of vanilla and cocoa flavours form this perfect, not-too-sweet holiday treat, and people are already raving about it on social media (one user said "I need more! It's so good!").
If that's not enough to get you to order one ASAP, the drink also has a really cute backstory. The Starbucks product developer behind the beverage, Erin Marinan, says she was inspired by her own experience of making batches of Irish cream with her family during the holidays to give to loved ones as gifts. An in this same spirit of giving, Starbucks also announced their holiday Happy Hour every Thursday throughout December. From 2-7 p.m., you can get a bogo deal on all handcrafted beverages (grande or larger), including holiday drinks.
The Irish Cream Cold Brew is available starting Dec. 3 at participating Starbuck locations across the U.S. and Canada, and will be available for a limited time.
