Target must've been reading my mind, because the retailer recently dropped the perfect addition for my booze-centric Valentine's Day plans: the "Wine Is My Valentine" Gift Set ($10). Only available on shelves at Target stores, the festive box is stocked with three mini 187-milliliter bottles of vino. (For reference, that's the same amount in each bottle of that colourful W.O.W Wines of the West Advent Calendar Target started selling during the holidays last year.) There's a flavourful red blend featuring notes of blackberry, a smooth and sweet Rosé, and a crisp Chardonnay with hints of vanilla, and all three hail from California.
I don't know about you, but I'd personally much rather dive into this trio than a box of chocolates — or Kraft's new hot-pink mac and cheese, for that matter — to commemorate Feb. 14. Here's a fun idea: tell your fellow Rosé-loving pals to scoop up the gift set at their local Target, and host your very own mini virtual wine tasting so you can sip and celebrate together.
