Popsugar Living House Plants Bear Paw Succulents Make For the Cutest House Plants These Bear Paw Succulents Have Fuzzy Leaves You’ll Want to Pet With Your Bear Hands 14 July 2020 by Yerin Kim View this post on Instagram A post shared by Currently Growing 🌱 | AU (@currentlygrowing_) on Jul 5, 2020 at 4:44pm PDT If you're a fan of cute plant babies like teeny-tiny cacti or pretty rose succulents, we have another option to round out your collection: succulents with fuzzy green leaves shaped like bear paws. Officially called cotyledon tomentos, but better known as bear paw succulents, these little fellas are sure to add a little fun and coziness to your space. While they're characterized by their unique hairy leaves with red edges that resemble bear claws, these succulents also grow orange bell-shaped flowers during the spring, as if we weren't already sold on those adorable paws. And if you're like me and just can't seem to keep a plant alive, you'll be happy to learn that bear paws are relatively easy to care for and can grow up to 12 inches tall, which makes for the perfect statement-making house plant. Though bear paw succulents are quite peculiar, you can find a wide range of the popular greenery on Etsy. I never thought that I'd be itching to pet a succulent, but scrolling through pictures of these cute house plants have certainly changed my mind. Get a closer look at bear paw succulents below.
