The West Elm Industrial Storage Pop-Up Coffee Table [10] ($699-$849) is made made in its fair trade certified facility from sustainably sourced mango wood. Plus, the storage lift-top design, is just incredibly smart and useful. Win. Win.
West Elm: Emmerson Reclaimed Wood Dining Table
Another piece from the brand's reclaimed wood line is the stunning West Elm Emmerson Reclaimed Wood Dining Table [11] ($1,099-$1,799). We love that you can mix and match it with chairs, or even the matching bench [12]. It comes in three different sizes, so you can choose the one that fits into your space.
Joybird: Lewis Grand Sofa
Joybird is committed to providing its factory workers a fair trade environment offering competitive wages and benefits. In addition to making sure its workers are happy creating these handcrafted pieces, they also give back to the planet. For every purchase made, the brand helps to fund reforestation and restoration programs in North America with the One Tree Planted organisation. Medly is making it a mission to offer more furniture pieces with less harmful chemicals. Without using harsh products like fire retardants, (which you can often find on upholstered fabrics) the brand is omitting far less into the environment. Plus, in partnership with the the National Forest Foundation, they plant three trees for every one used to build one of its designs. Medly: Palder Bed
