Step Inside Kendall Jenner's Delightfully Cosy and Low-Key Los Angeles Home

29/07/2020 - 09:51 PM

We finally got a full look inside Kendall Jenner's newly redesigned home, and phew, was it worth the wait! The supermodel is the cover star for Architectural Digest's September Style issue [1], and she told the publication all the details about her cosy Los Angeles abode. Kendall spent the past year revamping the house alongside designers Kathleen and Tommy Clements and Waldo Fernandez, creating a peaceful escape far removed from the hustle and bustle. "My life involves a lot of chaos and travel and high energy, so I wanted a home that feels serene, a place where I can simply zone out and relax," the 24-year-old told AD.

Kendall totally transformed the space to make it her own. She turned two bedrooms into a fitting room and nearby glam room, the latter of which she's dubbed her "Hannah Montana room." Meanwhile, an area that originally served as a home theatre is now an art studio where Kendall paints in her free time — while wearing a personalized apron, natch. Most of Kendall's house adheres to a neutral, earthy colour palette, with her carefully chosen art pieces offering pops of colour throughout.

A few other highlights? Her bed is absolutely enormous and cloud-like, she's got a shiny golden bathtub in the master bathroom, and the first thing you see upon entering her home is one of artist James Turrell's iconic, glimmering wall sculptures. Keep reading for a close-up look at these and more details inside Kendall's artsy, tranquil hideaway.

Let's get this party started, shall we?

As soon as visitors enter, they're greeted by the glow of Kendall's dreamy James Turrell light installation.

Here's her "formal living room," where she always has the fireplace going and shares deep talks with friends.

It features muted earth tones and understated floral throw pillows.

Her bar area is situated in a fancy nook — get a load of that gorgeous marble backdrop!

Meanwhile, this is her "dark, moody powder room," which has a massive stone sink that weighs about 300 pounds.

Kendall's office space is simple and unfussy, with built-in bookshelves and a small wooden desk.

This airy walkway is one of her "favourite parts" of the house because it gets so much natural light.

Kendall had her home theatre room transformed into an art studio where she paints.

The dining room table has delightfully mismatched wooden chairs.

The main dining room wall is decorated with a quirky mix of artwork, and a second table has natural-looking accents on top.

Simply put, Kendall's kitchen is gorgeous — and it's apparently the "most-used room in the house."

The cabinets are painted a deep teal colour, and copper pots hang above the centre island.

Yep, that's a golden pot filler tap to fuel her tea obsession.

Yep, Kendall's got one of Restoration Hardware's famous cloud couches — although she had hers reupholstered to give it a more organic feel.

Her fitting room is decorated with magazine covers.

She has a glam room just like her famous sisters do.

Kendall's bedroom has its own adjacent sitting room, complete with a pink neon sign and double-sided fireplace.

The wall is decorated with old-school doors from Italy that Kris Jenner had in their homes growing up.

Her bedroom is laid-back and minimally decorated. Oh, and her bed is a casual 9 feet wide.

She totally revamped the master bathroom to make it her own.

There's a shiny gold bathtub up against the windows.

OK, let's just take one more look at that beaut.

No shocker here: her closet is positively enormous and pristinely organised.

Here's a look at the outside of Kendall's home.

We're totally not at all jealous of her backyard.
