I recently moved into my first postgrad apartment, and I honestly thought shopping for home decor would be the easiest part of the whole process. I was genuinely excited to make my new place feel like home, but I quickly realised I was in over my head. The Scandinavian-inspired style mixed with the traditional nautical knotting and the pop of colour cheers me up each time I walk into the room. While the shape certainly lends itself to more of a head or arm rest rather than back support, the brand accommodated for that with its square and swirl styles, if that's more your speed.
Not only are the soft pillows handmade, but the small business also is officially carbon neutral as of earlier this year. In a time where shopping small and sustainable brands is increasingly important, a handmade knot pillow makes for a unique home decor gift.
