After recently moving, I was in the market for a new mattress. I wanted something plush and easy to set up, ideally that came in a box. I've been lucky enough to test a few different options in recent years, so this time around, I wanted to get something new. One of the mattresses I constantly get asked about and I had always been curious to try was the Purple Mattress ($699-$1,798). I decided to try its newest version, the Purple Plus , which includes two extra inches of its premium foam layers.

The mattress arrived in just a few days, rolled up and vacuum sealed in a bag. I live in a walk-up building, and the shape was easy to navigate, but full disclaimer: this bed is heavy, and you will definitely need an extra hand. Once it was up and unwrapped, it was ready for sleeping instantly. The brand's infamous purple grid did not disappoint. Made for breathability and comfort, it has over 1,400 air channels built in to help temperature regulate and make sure you don't overheat at night. The hyper-elastic gel feels squishy to the touch yet still supportive and helps cradle pressure points on your back, hips, and shoulders.

All in all, I would 100 percent buy it again and recommend it to someone who loves that plush, cloud-like feel. It's comfortable, soft, supportive, and everything you want in a mattress. Keep reading to shop a few of the brand's popular models.
