True, seeing an intruder in your home is scary in and of itself, but the story only got more chilling as Grady went on to detail the terror he felt when his parents didn't believe him. He even went so far as to sleep with a knife under his pillow. One night, 9-year-old Grady noticed a pair of eyes peering at him through the grates of the vent in his bedroom and, um, BIG NOPE.
