OK, so the Rockefeller Christmas tree [3] was a little lackluster this year, but these photos of Tim McGraw [4]'s gargantuan family Christmas tree [5] are definitely making up for it. On Dec. 8, Tim shared photos of himself balanced precariously on top of what looks like a 15-to-20-foot-tall ladder to decorate the massive tree.
"A: Santa's lead flying reindeer B: wife trying to get rid of me before Christmas," he joked in the Instagram caption. One commenter followed up by asking, "Who has a ladder that big laying around?" and we have the exact same question, Tim. Still, it's bound to come in handy when it's time to put on the tree topper.
The holiday centrepiece, which sits in a spacious room with vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, is adorned in strings of orange and yellow fairy lights and enough golden tinsel to get a smile out of the Grinch.
