Last week, the internet was whipped into a frenzy over Goop's, frankly, f*cking weird candle called "This Smells Like My Vagina." [1] Well, one week on, there's a new candle in town, and this time, it smells like a penis. Yes, a penis. Welcome to 2020, team.

Once you're finished losing it over the concept of a "This Smells Like My Penis" [2] candle (honestly, we need a sec to wipe the tears of laughter from our eyes), listen in, because this candle has a deeper meaning (pardon the pun — there's no way to avoid it).

The candle has been created by Taxi Agency (and we've got to give a shout out to Estée Laundry [3] for bringing it to our attention) and has been priced at $100 — you may notice the "This Smells Like My Vagina" candle is 25 percent cheaper — to shine a light on the gender pay gap [4] in Canada. According to the back of the candle, "that's because even though it's illegal in Canada to pay women less than men, the gender pay gap smells as strong as ever. On average, women earn 75 cents for every dollar men make. It's time to burn the gender pay gap."

The candle is coming soon to Canada (it's unclear whether it'll be available internationally), but we can't give you any answers on what the candle will actually smell like.
