1. Visit A Christmas Market

Some of our favourite Christmas markets in London are Borough Market at Christmas and the Winter Market at Southbank Centre. But why not venture outside of London to the smaller Christmas markets in Bath or Winchester that would make a cute, festive date night.

2. Go See A Pantomime

London has some of the best theatre in the world, so why not head over to the West End for a Christmas pantomime with your partner? Disney lovers will appreciate Cinderella at Lyric Hammersmith (until 5 January 2020) and Sleeping Beauty at Greenwich Theatre (until 12 January 2020). For a more traditional show, check out The Nativity Panto – A Not-So Silent Night (until 11 January 2020).

3. Ice Skating at Somerset House

Ice skating is the most romantic winter time activity and the rink at Somerset House is the perfect spot to get a gorgeous photo for the 'gram. If you want to stay clear of the crowds, Hampton Court Palace and Alexandra Palace are great alternatives.

4. Visit Winter Wonderland

Everyone should go to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park at least once. It is London's premiere Christmas event, so take your other half and enjoy the mulled wine, park rides, and all the gorgeous festive lighting — be sure to take a photo under the archway of lights.

5. Binge Christmas Specials on Netflix

If it's too chilly outside and you're feeling a cheap night in, then watching a marathon of festive films is a perfect night in. Netflix has some great new Christmas movies that you and your partner are sure to love while sipping on hot chocolate in front of the fireplace (or heater).

6. Visit the Friends Festive Event

If you and your partner love the show Friends then do we have a treat for you. The Luna Cinema is hosting a Festive Friends event called "Friendsfest" at The Truman Brewery in Shoreditch between 28 November and 21 December. You'll be able to visit your favourite sets dressed for the festive season, visit the holiday armadillo's grotto, ring Phoebe's bell outside the mall, and have a nibble of festive food and drinks.

7. Hogwarts in the Snow

For the Harry Potter superfan, you'll want to visit "Hogwarts in the Snow" if you haven't already. For the festive season, the Harry Potter studio tour will be transformed into a mini winter wonderland. You'll be able to have Christmas dinner in the Great Hall, see the stage become decorated as it was from the Yule Ball scene in The Goblet of Fire, and take in the tunes of the magical orchestra.
