It looks like 2018 is shaping up to be a year full of sexy, confident assassins and superhot superheroes in movies. From Red Sparrow [1] to A Star Is Born [2], we've compiled a list of the steamiest films out this year. These movies will make your body shiver with anticipation with their lurid plots and beautiful casts.
Proud Mary
The Creedence Clearwater Revival version of "Proud Mary" is pretty great, but the soulful, fiery Ike and Tina Turner version of the song brings it to a whole new level. This thriller is the latter version. In Proud Mary, Taraji P. Henson plays Mary, a hitwoman whose life turns around when she meets a young boy. Oh, and the trailer [3] features Billy Brown, who is none other than super fine Detective Nate Lahey from How to Get Away With Murder.
Fifty Shades Freed
Anastasia and Christian finally tie the knot [4] in Fifty Shades Freed, but that doesn't mean they're out of steam to blow. If you're looking for some fun, sexy drama and a solid soundtrack, you don't have to look any further.
Red Sparrow
Jennifer Lawrence [5] is an amazingly versatile actress whom we've seen in a range of different genres. This time, she stars in a spy thriller. In Red Sparrow, she plays a ballerina who becomes a "sparrow" — an assassin seductress for a Russian intelligence service. If you're looking for an action thriller with a sleek and sexy twist, this movie won't disappoint.
Tomb Raider
Ex Machina's Alicia Vikander brings to life the sultry and adventurous Lara Croft in this reboot of Tomb Raider. She looks hot, bothered, and ready to attack anyone who crosses her.
Overboard
Anna Faris [6] and Eugenio Derbez star in this remake of the classic [7] romantic comedy Overboard. The original version features Goldie Hawn [8] as a spoiled heiress who gets amnesia and falls for a carpenter played by Kurt Russell. Gender roles are reversed in this modern version: Derbez plays a spoiled playboy who gets amnesia and falls for Faris's character, a working-class mom.
Deadpool 2
If the first Deadpool film is any indication of naughtiness in its sequel, it looks like we'll be getting some more raunchy humour and gratuitous heavy petting. In fact, in promotional pictures for Deadpool 2, we see the mutant mercenary Domino (played by Atlanta's Zazie Beetz) lying on top of Deadpool [9]. While this may just be a playful teaser, it certainly speaks to the less-than-safe-for-work nature of the franchise.

Honestly, we can't wrap our heads around how ridiculously awesome this star-studded cast is! Ocean's Eight features an all-female cast including Sandra Bullock [10], Helena Bonham Carter, Rihanna [11], Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, and many more. Is there anything sexier than a band of strong, talented women organising a heist at the New York Met Gala? Nope.

In the story, an alcoholic former rock star helps a young singer navigate the music industry. Soon, a romance blooms between them. There seems to be a lot of steamy on-set chemistry [15] between Cooper and the queen of pop!
