Amazon Delivery Man Helps Hide 1 Woman's Package – And Now We All Want Her Welcome Mat

Vanessa O'Shea, like so many of us, does a lot of online shopping. So much so that she's determined to keep her costly habit – and the volume of packages that arrive at her doorstep every week – from her husband. Perhaps that's why her doormat, which she bought at Kirkland's, reads "Please Hide Packages From Husband."

And although Vanessa certainly set it out at her front door as a joke, an Amazon delivery person took it quite seriously and did the Texas-based woman a major favour.

In footage captured by Vanessa's security camera, the delivery man approaches her front door, stops to read the mat, and then – without even a moment's hesitation – he quickly finds a spot to stash her package, apparently behind a chair on her porch.

She posted the video and a snapshot of her trusty welcome mat on Facebook alongside a thank-you to Amazon "for always being loyal and hiding my packages!" It didn't take long for Vanessa to find and thank her delivery guy, Gilberto Montanez, in person:
