Amy Schumer [3] is sorry if she's offended you with any of her candid posts about her experience with postpartum life [4] . . . actually, scratch that, she's not. The 38-year-old new mom — whose son Gene is SO cute [5] — has been nothing but forward about life after having a baby, sharing photos of herself in her hospital-issue mesh underwear [6] and even one of her sitting on the toilet postbirth [7]. And now, she's flashing her C-section scar and mesh undies on the streets of NYC (gotta love her).
"I'm really sorry if I offended anyone with my hospital underwear," Amy wrote on Instagram under two photos, one of her walking in NYC, the second of her pulling down her leggings to reveal her scar [8] and underwear. "Except I'm just kidding."
In a time when more and more moms — both celebrity and non — are being open about their postpartum experiences and struggles [10], Amy is taking everything up a notch, and we'd honestly expect nothing less from the hilarious comedian. Rock on, mama.
