Scroll through Busy Philipps' Instagram account for ten seconds, and you'll see that she has no problem getting real about what it's like raising two girls [2]. But a recent photo [3] that shows her eating while in labor [4] with her 10-year-old daughter Birdie at home takes the cake. Or should we say sandwich?
"This is me. Ten years ago, laboring at home [5], eating a sandwich cause I was hungry, [6] I guess," she wrote. "My doula is checking the baby's heart rate with a monitor but that baby's heart rate never dropped. She was steady the entire seventeen hours of hard labor and three hours of pushing. Just waiting to show up the way she wanted to, in her own time, cause that's SO who she is, although I didn't know it yet."
We're hoping Busy keeps all these flashback photos coming — even though we're getting insanely hungry looking at them!
