Fluffy, a beautiful cat from Montana [3], might be down to eight lives after getting frozen in a snow bank in eight-degree weather. [4] After her owners found her unresponsive with ice balls matted to her fur, they rushed the cat to the Animal Clinic of Kalispell, where Dr. Jevon Clark got to work warming her back up. Initially, Fluffy's temperature was so low, it didn't register on the thermometer — cats' temperatures are usually around 101 degrees — but after hours of being wrapped in warming blankets followed by a trip to the emergency room, the kitty began to show signs of life.

"Amazing success and survival story from this week," reads the Facebook post. "Some clients found their injured cat buried in snow. They brought her to us essentially frozen and unresponsive. Her temperature was very low, but after many hours she recovered and is now completely normal. Fluffy is amazing!"

Thankfully, the clinic announced that Fluffy is expected to make a full recovery. And yes, she will be an indoor cat going forward.
