Picture this: you're at nursery school orientation, everyone is signing in and getting name tags for themselves and their children, and all of a sudden one mom starts "projectile puking." Most recently, that mom was Chrissy Teigen, and if you're wondering, she's "very sorry." Our favourite relatable celebrity mom recently shared the tale on Twitter, and if her brutal honesty isn't enough to make you laugh, the reactions will hopefully do the trick.
"Hello everyone from Luna's school orientation today. I'm sorry I projectile puked caffeine upon arrival, couldn't open my eyes and had the noisiest newborn in the room. (not a joke, very sorry, see you tomorrow)," Chrissy wrote. She followed up, explaining the reasoning behind her unforgettable entrance at the school, and to much surprise, it had nothing to do with nerves.
"Oh no, it was not first day of school jitters. It was last night's wine and Korean BBQ and jet lag combo," she shared. Chrissy and John Legend had been vacationing in Bali for the last few weeks with 2-year-old Luna and newborn son Miles, and while their photos were seriously dreamy, nothing says "back to reality" like a case of public vomiting.
She was absolutely apologetic, but fans and fellow parents on Twitter were quick to tell Chrissy that this was actually a good thing, and will work in her favour in the future. One person complimented her "strategic move," because other parents won't ever ask her for help because "now they just think you have 'enough on your plate.'" Ha! Another parent, who was actually at the same orientation, said that she and John "handled it respectfully" — because of course they did.
