Chrissy Teigen is no stranger to getting tons of nosy questions about her life, especially in a manner that isn't exactly friendly. However, when one fan came to Chrissy's defence on Instagram [3] after she thought another user was trying to mom-shame the model and mom of two [4], Chrissy swooped in to say that this time, she didn't actually feel attacked by her follower's question.

The post, which features an adorable photo of baby Miles [5] lounging on a giraffe-print pillow, elicited a question from a follower about how the baby boy came to be: "I know IVF was used for Luna," she wrote. "Was it used for baby brother also?"

Because for many people, this would appear to be a pretty personal question, a few users jumped in to tell this commenter that the question wasn't appropriate and the answer wasn't any of her business. One said: "Do you really find it necessary to know that or ask that? And why? She's a celebrity, but that still does not give you the right . . . [I'm just saying] . . . that was a total cringe-worthy moment, tsk, tsk, tsk . . . "

Although we understand where this person is coming from and respect them wanting to protect Chrissy's right to privacy, Chrissy herself decided to respond to the comment thread to set something straight about this particular social media scuffle.

"I wasn't offended by it," Chrissy responded. "People are just curious and I think hearing success stories gives people hope. I'm all for talking about IVF [7]."

Chrissy and John Legend have always been very open about their struggles to conceive naturally [8], and after welcoming two beautiful babies via IVF, we're inspired by Chrissy's willingness to continue to openly talk about the IVF process [9] to give other couples who are struggling some hope that it can all work out.
