Brace Yourselves: Disneyland Tickets Just Got 25% More Expensive

08/01/2019 - 04:25 PM

A family trip to Disneyland [1] is about to set you back a lot more money. According to CBS News, as of Jan. 6, a 25 percent price hike will make the least expensive daily pass to the park cost more than $100 per person. The price serge comes ahead of the highly anticipated Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge expansion [2], which is set to open Summer 2019 in California. The new price increase will also affect annual passes and parking. And this isn't the first time the park has increased ticket prices. Less than a year ago, ticket prices jumped by 18 percent [3]. Although prices vary by date, a one-day, one-park ticket will set parents back $104 on a slow weekend in May, for example. But on a peak park day? Expect to pay something in the $149 range [4]. It looks like the most magical place on earth isn't exactly cheap!
