Emily Blunt [1] is keeping it real about her kids' "preferred" parent, to put it nicely. While promoting her current film A Quiet Place, the 35-year-old actress joked that she knows her husband, John Krasinski [2], is the more well-liked parent [3] of the two, despite the fact that she still considers herself the "top dog."
"I mean, Mother's Day [4] and any birthdays in my house are kind of funny because my kids are terrible at keeping surprises," Emily told Entertainment Tonight about her two daughters [5], Hazel and Violet. "Especially the older one, she's like, 'Mommy, I got you that pink scarf you loved.'"
Admitting a fear many parents have, Emily said, "They may like John even more than me, which is slightly upsetting at times. When I ask the little one, 'Who's your best friend?' She's like, 'Daddy.'" Adding, "I'm still kind of top dog, but I'm just going to have to keep him working so he's not there." With her upcoming role in Mary Poppins Returns [7], however, we have a feeling she's about to be very well-liked by children everywhere.
