Eva Longoria Credits Nurses For Helping New Moms: "You Are All Angels"

25/06/2018 - 07:10 PM

Starting off my Monday full of gratitude for this little blessing of a human! 🙏🏻 Pepe and I want to thank all the nurses at @cedarssinai who took such great care of my baby and I. You are all angels, sharing your knowledge and experience to make sure new moms feel good about going home and caring for this fragile life of a newborn. I love this picture as a reminder that no matter how big you grow Santiago, you will always be my baby! #BabyBaston [1]

Like many first-time moms, Eva Longoria has a heart full of gratitude for the hospital staff who delivered her newborn son, Santiago Enrique Bastón [3]. After delivering Santiago on June 19, Eva wanted to send a special message to the nursing staff who helped prepare her — and husband José Bastón — for bringing home their baby boy. "Pepe and I want to thank all the nurses at [Cedars Sinai] who took such great care of my baby and I," the new mom wrote on a photo of her baby's tiny feet. "You are all angels, sharing your knowledge and experience to make sure new moms feel good about going home and caring for this fragile life of a newborn."

It's no secret that nurses are absolute badasses [4] and possess an endless wealth of knowledge [5] about labor, delivery, and caring for tiny babies [6], so it's important to celebrate their lifesaving work [7]! We have a feeling this won't be Eva's last time using her adorable son [8] as a chance to share valuable messages [9] with her followers, and we can't wait to follow along.
