Gabrielle Union Finally Understands Why She Sees Moms at Target or the Airport "Just in Tears"
Ever since her 3-month-old daughter, Kaavia, entered the world via surrogate, Gabrielle Union has been enjoying — and adjusting — to the ups and downs of motherhood. In a recent interview with People, the 46-year-old mama opened up about some of the trials and tribulations that come with having a newborn.
"She used to love her car seat and then just one day was like, 'I hate it. Good luck getting somewhere,'" said Gabrielle. "Now I understand why sometimes you'll see moms at the airport or in Target just in tears."
And while motherhood is certainly a blessing, giving 100 percent in every facet of her life has proved challenging for the new mom. "You try to do what you can in the hours that you can," she explained. "I may not be hitting it out of the park at work, at home, with her or with my husband, but that's okay."
What can we say? The newborn stage is pretty much a whirlwind!
