Hoda Kotb might have a little interior designer on her hands in the form of her 1-month-old daughter, Hope Catherine [1] — but then again, maybe not. Apparently, the quickest way to get this little lady to sleep [2] is with an episode of Fixer Upper, and I mean, who doesn't feel comforted by the soothing sound of Joanna Gaines's voice?
Hoda called into The Today Show on Monday to talk to her coanchors about her first Mother's Day [3] with both Hope and Haley Joy and shared the hilarious nugget. "I did learn something about Hope's sleeping pattern, which is important," she told Jenna Bush Hager and Savannah Guthrie. "You know what puts Hope to bed? It is Chip and Joanna Gaines . . . Let me tell you, I put her in the bassinet right by the TV, even though I know you're not supposed to. She won't sleep, she won't sleep — I click on Chip and Joanna, she is out cold!"
Maybe Hope will appreciate shiplap and the big home makeover reveals when she's a bit older, but for now, Chip and Jo are helping Hoda parent without even knowing it!
