As someone who lives in a very small space with a tangle of cats and a dog who are seemingly always getting into trouble, I rely on a slew of products to keep my apartment semi-clean and everyone happy. But believe it or not, my biggest gripe as of recently is how ends up in the kitchen; the little fluffy white number I have in the guest room ends up all bunched up in the corner. Rather than buying pricey mats to keep your area rug secure, just attach this adhesive, disposable tape to one side of the rug and then be done worrying about your pets — or energetic little kids, for that matter — slipping on, or moving your rug to the next room over for good. And when it comes time to throw the rugs into the wash? Just peel the tape off, throw the rug into the washer, and reapply the tape again. Easy peasy.
