Former Olympic skier, Bode Miller, and his wife, Morgan, have had all of their shared three children together in close succession (and Bode's two kids from previous relationships aren't that far off in age from their younger siblings). Sadly, the Millers lost one of their children, 19-month-old Emeline, in a tragic drowning accident on June 10, 2018, but have since welcomed a son Morgan was pregnant with at the time of Emmy's death — and now, they're expecting twins [1].
Morgan, who says welcoming her youngest child just a few months after losing Emmy made her realise that her joy and grief could coexist, can't wait to welcome two more little boys to their brood. "I can actually say with joy and excitement that we are expecting identical twin boys," she shared on Instagram. "From the beginning of this pregnancy, we knew Emmy had her hands in this miracle somehow."

Neesyn Dacey Miller
Bode's oldest child, who is typically referred to by her middle name [4], Dacey, or "Dace," was born on Feb. 19, 2008. Bode shares his daughter with ex, Chanel Johnson.
Samuel "Nate" Bode Miller-McKenna
Bode's oldest son, whom he shares with ex Sara McKenna, was born on Feb. 23, 2013. Although he shares his full name with Bode, whose first name is actually Samuel, Bode and Morgan refer to him as "Nate." And it looks like he's also following his dad's footsteps when it comes to skiing. In January 2019, the little guy took first place in his first race. "I may have teared up when they called his name to the podium," Bode wrote on Instagram. Aw!
Nash Skan Miller
Morgan and Bode's first child together, Nash, was born at home on May 18, 2015, two-and-a-half years after they tied the knot.
Emeline Grier Miller
Morgan and Bode welcomed their second child together, a daughter they called Emmy, on Nov. 5, 2016. In the days leading up to her tragic death on June 10, 2018, Morgan shared tons of photos of their little girl, who was full of personality and about to become a big sister in four months.
Since Emmy's death, both Bode and Morgan have spoken out about water safety [5] and how important it is for all parents to be alert and aware any time their kids are near any kind of body of water. Shortly after Emmy's passing, Morgan said on Instagram: "Drowning is the NUMBER ONE cause of death in children ages 1-4. We talk about vaccinations, car seats, organic foods, screen time, etc. at length, but not the number one risk your children's lives face . . . a silent killer. It takes SECONDS. Please share and help us spread awareness. It's the first step to preventing these types of tragedies."
Easton Vaughn Rek Miller
On Oct. 5, 2018, Morgan and Bode welcomed their son, Easton, who is named after Bode's New Hampshire hometown [6]. Morgan posted her first photo of Easton four months after his birth, saying: "He is so special and has brought so much healing and hope. Our baby Emmy will never be replaced but man, has this little bundle allowed us to feel a small sense of peace and in a weird way, a connection between the heavens and earth."
