Dwyane Wade Takes His Role as a Dad Very Seriously, and We Have the Photos to Prove It

Dwayne shares his oldest son, who was born in 2002, with his ex-wife and high school sweetheart, Siohvaughn Funches. Apparently, the teen has inherited some serious basketball skills from his dad, as several colleges have offered him spots on their respective teams.

Zion is the second son that Dwyane and Siohvaughn share. Born on May 29, 2007, he made headlines when he attended the pride parade in Miami with his siblings and stepmom in tow. Although his dad had a work commitment and couldn't attend with his son, Dwayne mentioned in an interview with Variety that Zion has his full support. Zion has yet to speak out officially about his sexual orientation.

The 37-year-old dad welcomed his third son, Xavier Zechariah Wade (sitting on Dwyane's shoulders), with his longtime friend Aja Metoyer on November 10, 2013.

Dwyane and Gabrielle welcomed their daughter on November 7, 2018, via surrogate and have been soaking up every moment with her ever since. According to her mom, Kaavia already has plenty of attitude. "She looks just like Dad, but I'd like to think the attitude is from me," she told People. "She will stare into your soul and tell you about yourself through her eyes." How sweet!

In 2011, Dwyane was awarded full-custody of his nephew, Dahveon (pictured on the far right), by a judge in Florida. Although Dwyane's sister and Dahveon's mother, Deanna Morris, still has parental rights, he's been raising the boy as his own.
